My Beloved Tasmania

My two favourite people in Tasmania on their Wedding Day, and then two favourite photographs of my parents' homeland Tasmania ! What wonderful holidays I have spent on the "Apple Isle".

The Old and the New

I had already scrapped Zach playing air guitar, but now with our new Guitar Hero Kit I have re-done the LO and I think it looks great !!!



My children were in the wedding party back in 1974, Yvette was Flower Girl, and Sean was Page Boy. Unfortunately I was very ill in hospital at the time and never saw them dressed up in their finery !! It wasn't until last year (2007) that I even got to see a photo of them, how nice it would have been, to be there on the day !!

Musical

Zach tried out for the choir at school, and succeeded ! now he will sing at the Sydney Opera House, how proud are we !!!

Co-incidentally, Anneli and I collaborated on a Music Kit Freebie, which you can download from Anneli's blog HERE, so I quickly did this LO of Zach from his 2008 School Photo, my Music Papers, and Anneli's wonderful Musical Instruments !!

What a joy this collaboration has been !! It seems to have been successful as well, YeeeeeHaaaaaa !!!!!!!

Zach on his first day back to school after the summer holidays, a new year and a new beginning, this was his last year in infant's school.



This is the last photo taken of my Mum. it was Mothers Day and we had a really nice day, she passed away about 7-8 weeks after the photo was taken. She died of pneumonia, this was such a tragedy for our family !!

Easter Show plus Surprise Gift

Zach went to the Royal Easter Show with his Mum & Dad this year, whilst there, they had this Caricature drawn of him, the likeness is pretty good !!, because it was only black and white, I decided it needed some colour, so, like a child, I coloured it in, only no crayons needed just PSE lol !!!

Then I needed a paper to go with it !

I was creating a Freebie for my blog for Spring (in the northern hemisphere) so decided to use that !! this is the result.

Lots of Girls

Now I can get some girls into my LO's, mainly friends, but it is so much easier to do LO's for girls than boys !! that is what started me on this journey, to make the "doings" for boys !!

Layouts A Plenty !!

And still they keep on coming, I really wonder if I will ever get to the end of this backlog of Photographs !!

Still Reminiscing !!

I am really enjoying this walk down memory lane, and it isn't finished yet, there are plenty more photo's to be done !! It is nice to have a rest from designing, although, just putting these together is really the same thing, but I do enjoy it so !!

Oh ! Such Fun

Isn't it a wonderful thing, to go back 30 odd years scrapping your family when they were young, and reminisce over what they were like as little ones ? !!

I just had the most amazing time doing these layouts, my mind went to places it hadn't been to for ages, so these layouts, justifiably, took longer than usual for me !!

My LO's

Boy !! have I been productive ? !
I thought that I would have a couple of days off from designing, but as I just can not stay away from my scrapbooking, I have gone back to my LO's, I think I have done well for 1 day, who knows how many I will get done tomorrow, being Saturday, I won't have the interruptions that I get on a week day !!!

New Layouts !

Will wonders never cease !! I made time today to do two LO's, the first one using embellishments from my favourite designer Attic Treasures, aren't they great !!
