What a magical place our local Camellia Gardens are, Sonia came and took me there for lunch, it was the first time that I walked up hill and down dale without my sticks, I was pretty exhausted when I got back home, but it sure was a sense of achievement for me on the day.
And here we are the two of us, it seems like a million years ago, I don't even recognise myself in this photo, but I do remember having it taken, so it must be me !! lol Marg is still as beautiful as ever, as you can see from the more recent photo below !!
My friend Marg and her family at the celebrations of her husbands 70th Birthday, it seems like just yesterday I introduced the two of them to each other.....my how time flies !!
The words on these LO's speak for themselves, I have nothing further to add, except that it was a shame for all who served in Darwin, almost as bad (but not quite), as the treatment of the Vietnam Veterans.

This is another LO that I discovered incompleted, Zach has his Boy Scout uniform on so I presume that that is the topic of this LO, but after so many months...who knows ? Certainly not me LOL, gee I hope my brain returns soon !!
Flo always looks as if butter wouldn't melt in her mouth, but let me assure you there are times when she is so completely feral it scares me !!
This is an old LO that I found had never been completed. I have just been backing up all my work and making sure all started jobs are finished. I can't say much about the LO as I think I started it before my surgery when I had mush for brains, anyway I have now completed it (?) I think !
Lillibet gave me her stick to get photo's of Jessica off, but I also took this photo off, of her in-laws, they look like a happy bunch and this was fun to scrap.
Sometimes it is such a joy to just scrap a little girl, I am so fortunate that Lillibet lends me her daughter for occasions like this. Jess is such an adorable little girl and doesn't mind at all.

Ivan and I went for a drive one day and came across this meadow of buttercup, Ivan couldn't resist posing. He looks quite cute (to me anyway !!) crouched in the buttercups with the graffitied (sic) rock behind him.
Zach's Aunty Katrina arrived from Queensland to meet him. It was the first time either of them had met, seems it was love at first site, they are constantly SMSing each other now that she has returned home. I really think he misses her, they had a fantastic time while she was here.
We had just finished a delightful BBQ lunch and were basking in the after glow of full tummies. Zach snuggled up to his Mum for this beautiful photograph. Some days are better than others !!
