Billy Cart Boys

There was a Billy Cart Rally being held for all the local area Scouts, so Zach asked his Dad if he could make him a Billy Cart. Malcolm was delighted to be asked, so they worked all day building it. Yvette painted it red, then flames were suggested, Malcolm said "no", but next morning when we got up, there was Malcolm in the yard painting blue flames on the billy cart. Before the rally Malcolm wanted to trial how the cart worked - it was to be run on grass, usually they run on a hard surface, but because this rally was on grass, Malcolm had made a cart that runs well on grass. This video shows Zach trialing his new Billy Cart, what fun boys have together !!

Oh what fun for Zach and his Dad Malcolm "tubing" at Perisher Blue, the sounds you hear when Zach goes past the camera are him screaming "Wheeeeeeeeee", he was having so much fun. Malcolm challenged Zach to a race, but because of his size he beat Zach every time, it is just natural that he would come down the slope faster !!
I am really pleased that I have this footage to see what a fantastic weekend they all had !!

Zach on The Mountain

This one is of Zach coming down the mountain on his own !! How proud am I !! Wait till you hear his message for me near the end of the video, absolutely priceless (to me anyway) you can see why he is my angel !!!

Can you tell I'm learning more about editing these movies, almost as much fun as scrap booking, but not quite !!

For those of you not familiar with Australia, Mr Kosciusko is the tallest mountain in mainland Australia at 2,228 metres.

Zach Having His First Ski

Here is Zach and Malcolm (in centre of frame) Zach getting his first lesson from Daddy on how to ski, I am very proud, he seemed to be doing a great job !!

Malcolm's Ski Jump

Here is a little video of Malcolm going off a ski jump, he thought that he would just ski off the ramp, but evidently his body position was just right for a "loop" which he did not intend !!! One broken collar bone later, he learnt he wasn't as good as I thought he was LOL !!! Listen closely for his groan right at the end of the video, when he realises what he has done !!
