Dolphin Delights

Yvette took these photographs, I think this dolphin might have had a "thing" for her, it seems to be making eyes at her, and kept changing it's pose, as if to say "do you like this angle ? or maybe this one is better ? or should I change sides ?".
She certainly got some great photos !!

Zach the Biker

I bought a doll called Bobby the Biker, it is a baby doll in a nappy with a leather jacket on and keys to a Harley. It looks so much like Zach at this age, I then had to dress Zach up to look like Bobby and take his photo, I should have taken their photo together, but it is too late now !! Anyway this is Zach all punked and ready to ride !!

Swimming Fun

Here are the children having fun in the pool, oh please !! roll on Summer and we can do it all again this year!!
Tomorrow is the first day of Spring and it couldn't come sooner !! I have had enough of winter for now.

Another Photo of Me !!

Not much to say about this one, I look like a deer in the headlights !! but as there aren't many photo's of me, I have to try to make the best of what I have LOL !!

School Choir at the Sydney Opera House

As you are no doubt aware we have been waiting for Zach to sing at the Opera House with the school choir. Well, it happened last week and here are the only photographs that we managed to get. I have scanned the program and included it in the LO also. I believe it was a great night, but too long for the children, they went into the city with the school to rehearse at 10 am and stayed there the whole day until the concert. They didn't get home until around 11 pm that evening, and were expected to go to school the next day. I presume a lot of children had the next day off (like Zach did) because they were overtired and shattered !

Swimming Mandy

Another old photo of yours truly, this time having a dip to cool off on a hot evening. Back in those days the kids and I would drag the TV onto the back step of the house, and all get in the pool and lean over the side and watch television and be cool at the same time. Now, with air conditioning, those extreme measures (and fun) are no longer practised, it is a shame really, I used to enjoy those days so much !

Sandra and I

This is Sandra and I on her Wedding Day. Two lovely little girls, and many years later, this marriage is well and truly over, it is sad to think that on this day Sandra would be thinking that her future life would be fantastic forever. She is very lucky to have her girls, and their father is a good Dad and dotes on them, so it didn't end too badly I suppose !

Bubble Bath Time

Zach says he is a big boy now and only has showers, but when he was little all he ever had were baths, and they HAD to be Bubble Baths at that !! When I arrive with my camera, I get a lot of funny face pulling, but then, that is half of the fun of taking his photo in the altogether !!

Liam and I

This photo was taken when Liam was only a few days old, he has turned into the cutest little boy and I really like these photo's of me (rare) with him. He turned 1 just recently !

Dreaming

Yvette had just washed her hair and was drying it in the sun, I happened to catch her enjoying the warmth, and dreaming of ????? I just adore this photo, she was unaware that I was taking it.

Yvette's Surprise !

I don't know what this was about, I think Yvette took her own photo, and why she had this look on her face, I have no idea, but to scrap it I had to visualise my own story, what do you think of the outcome ?

Celeste

Celeste is Yvette's half sister, she was a Bridesmaid in this photo, and I think you couldn't ask for a prettier one !!

Cheeky

She isn't tired in this shot, on the contrary, out on the tiles drinking and generally mucking up and having a good time !!

Daughter

Another oldy but goody, this time Yvette before she became a mother, she says she looks tired in this shot, but I think she looks lovely, but then I am biased !!

My Son Shines

An oldy but a goody ! My son some twenty years ago, this photo turned up when I was looking for photos of ducks in the pool, it was worth scrapping, he looks so great dressed for a night out on the town, I am very proud of him !

AFL Supporters

Any excuse for a drinks night with the girls !! Yvette is a crazy AFL (Australian Football League) supporter, when the girls want to have drinks and Yvette's favourite team, the Swans, are playing, then the two have to be combined ! This is one of those occasions. The really keen football fans wear the teams colours of red and white, to show their support.

My Mate Kate

My English/Canadian friend Kate, came from Canada for a holiday, we had a great time in the pool drinking white wine with strawberries in it, sitting in the spa jets getting a massage, the sun was shining brightly, it was a hot day, and we had so much fun just catching up on gossip.

More Fauna

As the LO says, more things calling by to share my swimming pool ! This time wild ducks ! I was standing at the kitchen sink washing up the dishes, when I heard this "plink" "plonk", I looked up and there were these two ducks merrily swimming in my pool, I took them some bread and they were happy to feed from my hand, then I grabbed the camera. They came three more times but I can't seem to find those photos, I know I have better ones, so when I find them, then I will have more to scrap !!

Bunny Rabbit

Yvette took this photo of a wild bunny at Wet 'n' Wild World on the Gold Coast when she and Zach were there for a holiday, he just hopped in for a photo shoot and hopped away again. He wasn't scared of her at all !

Mermaid

This is one of Yvette's friends, we are certain she was a Mermaid in a previous life, when we went on holidays to Surfers Paradise and found this mermaid fountain, I just had to take her photo with the mermaid.

First Holy Communion

Zach made his First Holy Communion, we were so proud to see him dressed in a collar and tie, he is growing up so fast, we had a small celebration with family on the day. I am very happy that he is getting the Religious training that is so lacking for some young children today.
I always call Zach "My Little Angel" so please forgive me for the halo and wings on this LO, but he will understand my reasons for doing it when he grows up, and I want to always remind him of how I feel about him.

Sweet Little Max

Sweet "Max" who came to celebrate Zach's Birthday with him. Max will probably grow up to be a surfer boy, he lives near the beach, and Mummy and Daddy take him often.

Double Digits !!

Zach is now ! ! 10 ! !
Boy are the years flying past ! We had a quiet celebration with family and friends, it was lovely to have Zach's new little cousin visit and wish him a happy birthday, Max is 18 months old and a little sweetheart, and, as runs in the family, sooooo good looking. I love this photo of Zach blowing out his candles with Max, it was a lucky shot to catch him in full blow LOL ! !
