Billy Cart Boys

There was a Billy Cart Rally being held for all the local area Scouts, so Zach asked his Dad if he could make him a Billy Cart. Malcolm was delighted to be asked, so they worked all day building it. Yvette painted it red, then flames were suggested, Malcolm said "no", but next morning when we got up, there was Malcolm in the yard painting blue flames on the billy cart. Before the rally Malcolm wanted to trial how the cart worked - it was to be run on grass, usually they run on a hard surface, but because this rally was on grass, Malcolm had made a cart that runs well on grass. This video shows Zach trialing his new Billy Cart, what fun boys have together !!

Zach and Malcolm on the TORNADO

What a hair raising ride this looks to me !! I am glad I wasn't present on the day, I think I would have fainted to see my Angel in this "Tornado" tube with his Dad !!

Yvette's First Visit to See Snow

Zach took this lovely photo of his Mum through the car window !! He is going to be a great photographer/scrapbooker (I hope) when he grows up !!

Gordon and His Girls

My friend Sylvia and her husband Gordon sent me this lovely picture of themselves with their Daughters and Grand Daughters, what a lovely family (they also have Sons and Grand Sons), but I think the Girls are the "Apples of Gordon's Eyes" !!

Zach's First Visit to See Snow

Here is Zach and Malcolm on the top of the mountain ready to ski, this was Zach's first time skiing, and he did a marvelous job of it, he fell over a few times but didn't get hurt at all, he is growing up so quickly, he is almost a tall as his Dad, well, not quite, but nearly there !!

Zach and Penguins

We took the first (top) photo of Zach in Hobart on our Tasmanian Holiday, a few days after I scrapped it I found the second (bottom) photo of him with penguins, only this time at the other end of Australia, in Queensland, we had no idea that we had two shots of him with penguins 6 years apart !! LOL

Port Arthur, Tasmania

I just adore Tasmania as you are probably well aware. These photos were taken in 2000 on our (Yvette, Zach and I) extended holiday there, Zach wants to go back now because he says he can't remember being there, which is understandable as he was only 2 years old in 2000.

Zach and Malcolm at Perisher Blue

Oh what fun for Zach and his Dad Malcolm "tubing" at Perisher Blue, the sounds you hear when Zach goes past the camera are him screaming "Wheeeeeeeeee", he was having so much fun. Malcolm challenged Zach to a race, but because of his size he beat Zach every time, it is just natural that he would come down the slope faster !!
I am really pleased that I have this footage to see what a fantastic weekend they all had !!

My Pal Sylvia

My pal Sylvia sent me this photograph of herself with her first grandchild (grown up of course !) It seems to me only yesterday he was a little fellow,and the apple of Sylvia's eye the same as Zach is for me ! My how the days roll by !! You can tell he has grown into a wonderful young man, who loved his Grandparents very much.

Zach on The Mountain

This one is of Zach coming down the mountain on his own !! How proud am I !! Wait till you hear his message for me near the end of the video, absolutely priceless (to me anyway) you can see why he is my angel !!!

Can you tell I'm learning more about editing these movies, almost as much fun as scrap booking, but not quite !!

For those of you not familiar with Australia, Mr Kosciusko is the tallest mountain in mainland Australia at 2,228 metres.

Zach Having His First Ski

Here is Zach and Malcolm (in centre of frame) Zach getting his first lesson from Daddy on how to ski, I am very proud, he seemed to be doing a great job !!

Malcolm's Ski Jump

Here is a little video of Malcolm going off a ski jump, he thought that he would just ski off the ramp, but evidently his body position was just right for a "loop" which he did not intend !!! One broken collar bone later, he learnt he wasn't as good as I thought he was LOL !!! Listen closely for his groan right at the end of the video, when he realises what he has done !!

My Dream Grandchild

Now here is my little angel only 2 months old, wasn't he the most adorable little baby, such a sweet face he has !! I'm not biased !!! Noooooooooo not me !!!!

Tigger Fan

These pre school photos are from 2001 when Zach was only 3 years old, still a ham for the camera though, what fun it is to create LO's of a child that loves the camera and is always ready with a smile and a laugh.

My Dear Cousins

These are my beloved cousins from Tasmania, seen here resting in their lovely home, they have a magnificent rose garden and the roses on my LO were grown by them, they are so clever !!
