Zach my Male Model
Mother's Day was coming and I had to take a few photo's of Zach for a special project (I had a notebook made for Yvette with Zach's photo on the cover) these photo's are some of the rejects from the project, but good photo's none-the-less.
I also downloaded the weekly freebie from atomiccupcake.com which is an action that turns you photo's or elements into a cross stitch, so I tried using it, a very interesting result I believe !!

ROAD TO RECOVERY
My operation is done and I am on the road to recovery, I am doing much better than I had anticipated, obviously all those prayers on my behalf have worked a treat. I am walking with crutches, and I am feeling no pain at all, oh !!! the peace of no pain, how wonderful it feels.
Soon I will be back to scrapping I'm sure, but then again, I might be too busy walking around to sit on the computer working, who knows ? We'll see eh ? !!

MY IMPENDING OPERATION
All being well I will be having my operation on 29th April. If everything goes according to Hoyle I will be in the Surgical Hospital for 5 days then a Rehabilitation Hospital for 10 days, I would presume that it will be a few more weeks after that before I will be able to sit for any length of time on my computer desk. So I will be missing in action for a few weeks. I look forward to a speedy recovery and getting back to normal after that. Thank you so much to all the people that have sent me greetings, I really am grateful to you all, it makes me feel good to read them over when I start to feel down.Until my return I bid you "adieu" !!!
Counting down now..... only 6 more days till op. day !

Taronga Park Zoo
Yvette took Zach to Taronga Park Zoo in 2008, she couldn't resist taking a photo of the Giraffe overlooking our glorious Sydney Harbour, what a lucky giraffe !!! the animals there get a million dollar view.
The second LO is of garden scenes around the zoo, I found these photos very interesting, Zach and Yvette are getting to be such good photographers, seeing beauty in everything, I almost feel that my job is done !!

Scouting Activities
These LOs are a mixed bag, the first is when the group volunteered to man a water station for the 2008 City to Surf Fun Run, the kids had a blasthanding out plastic cups of water and Powerade on the day.
The second LO is from a Scout Camp that Zach went on in 2009 to Gunamatta (by the sea) and again they all had tremendous fun for the weekend.

Sue at Numbbumm designed the kit that I used to create these two LO's, you can pick the kit up as a freebie by clicking on the link HERE

Easter Sunday at Cronulla 2009
Zach loves the beach, but then Zach loves all things outdoorsy !! This LO was made with Numbbumm's Freebie Mega Kit, which has been named in my honour (what a wonderful thing to have) Sue specifically made the kite for my darling Zach, and I just "happened to have" the appropriate photograph to use it on, how lucky was that !! I think Sue has done a brilliant job on this kit and you can get it here, this kit has something for everyone, you can't go wrong downloading it, there are unlimited possibilities with the papers, elements and alphabet. The name of the kit is "Good Luck Witchypoo".

Zach's friends came for another sleep over, they stayed Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. On Sunday they all went to Cronulla beach to play and have fun at the fair. I'm sure they really enjoyed themselves. So I've done more LO's of the kids at the beach. Jess and Tom don't get to go to the beach very often so they really had a good time ! On Monday they all went to the movies and saw Monsters versus Aliens they loved it !!

Our Darling Cat "Flo"
Flo is as white as snow, she never leaves the house, because we are frightened that if she gets exposed to too much sun she will get skin cancer. She is the Queen of the Manor, in more ways than one.
