The Ears Have It !

Yvette and Zach were comparing their ear shapes, it is hard to tell one from the other, except that Mummy had heaps of earrings in hers, if it wasn't for them, I believe we couldn't tell who was who ! I think if they took a photo of my ears also, it would be hard to tell between the three of us. Obviously ears run in our family .....what was that you say.....can't (h)ear you lol !!

Created with Sue's freebie kit "Nellies Place", from her blog Numbbumm.blogspot.com click the link to get your copy!

Flapper Zach

Yvette was having a "do" at work and decided to make this Flapper headdress. Zach had to try it on for size,as most curious children would, he does look cute doesn't he lol !!

Mummy's Little Explorer

We went down the coast to Lake Tabourie and discovered this wonderful lighthouse on the way, Zach made this cute pose for us. I think he was pretending to be a pirate on shore for supplies ? !!

Zach has returned to playing soccer again at long last, and he is playing really well after about two years off, due to the terrible tragedy he had with his teeth at school (that is another story, yet to be told).
We are so proud of him, that he has been able to pick up where he left off totally unscathed.

Blue Eyes

My dear little blue eyed boy.... what else can I say.... you all know how much I adore this little guy. He is home on school holidays with me at the moment, and he is a joy to be with, I just wish that I was able to drive the car so that we could go exploring, but that will come in time (if he can wait for me.) I am working on my walking, 3 times a week, and hope to be strong enough soon to get back behind the wheel...can't wait ...!!!

Mum and Her Sister

I had these photos in frames on my dressing table, but decided it was time to scan them and put them "out there" for posterity. Mum and her beloved sister Ettie, I miss them both so much, it still hurts !!

Facebook Friends

These are two of my Facebook Friends (Duckie in the yellow top), I lifted the photos from their album page, but they were very happy with the results of my labours.

Emohruo

Meldrum Park 2007

I have only just rediscovered these photographs taken by Yvette with her mobile phone camera. They are such good quality for a phone camera that I just had to make a LO with them !!

2009 Soccer Picnic

What a lovely show of affection this Dad has for his son, which is a refreshing change from the typical Aussie Dad.

And another lovely LO made possible by the fantastic work of Sue from Numbbumm.blogspot.com, also a freebie, so click the link and get yours NOW !!!

2009 Soccer Picnic

A pair of very happy parents that belong to Zach's new soccer team, what a great picnic day, the parents had fun and the children had fun. It was held in Centenary Park, one of our favourite places to go for a good time.

Zach my Male Model

Mother's Day was coming and I had to take a few photo's of Zach for a special project (I had a notebook made for Yvette with Zach's photo on the cover) these photo's are some of the rejects from the project, but good photo's none-the-less.
I also downloaded the weekly freebie from atomiccupcake.com which is an action that turns you photo's or elements into a cross stitch, so I tried using it, a very interesting result I believe !!

2008 Presentation Night

At the end of each year the school holds a presentation evening for students, parents and friends to attend. It finalises the years study for the children, and those that have exceeded are presented with Merit Certificates or Book Prizes. Zach is shown in the centre with his Headmaster, School Teacher and some of his friends.

ROAD TO RECOVERY

My operation is done and I am on the road to recovery, I am doing much better than I had anticipated, obviously all those prayers on my behalf have worked a treat. I am walking with crutches, and I am feeling no pain at all, oh !!! the peace of no pain, how wonderful it feels.
Soon I will be back to scrapping I'm sure, but then again, I might be too busy walking around to sit on the computer working, who knows ? We'll see eh ? !!

Debbie Malone's Book Launch

My niece has just written a book (Never Alone - A Medium's Journey) and it was lauched at the Capitol Theatre on 2nd June 2009. I was unable to attend (naturally, I'm not walking that good yet !) so my daughter went instead. This is a photo taken of Debbie's proud parents, my brother and sister-in-law.

Another magnificent kit by Numbbumm.blogspot.com !! (freebie as well, get yours by clicking the link !!)

MY IMPENDING OPERATION

All being well I will be having my operation on 29th April. If everything goes according to Hoyle I will be in the Surgical Hospital for 5 days then a Rehabilitation Hospital for 10 days, I would presume that it will be a few more weeks after that before I will be able to sit for any length of time on my computer desk. So I will be missing in action for a few weeks. I look forward to a speedy recovery and getting back to normal after that. Thank you so much to all the people that have sent me greetings, I really am grateful to you all, it makes me feel good to read them over when I start to feel down.Until my return I bid you "adieu" !!!
Counting down now..... only 6 more days till op. day !
