The day before the Rainbow Lorikeets came into my garden, my son had these Sulphur Crested Cockatoos in the garden as well, these guys can almost be a pest, and the neighbours get angry when we encourage them to come. They sit on my front fence and break the bulbs on my fairy lights, smashing them with their strong beaks. If you happen to have timber anywhere (like I have on my screen above the new garden bed), they will chew it until it is all broken and gone. The trouble is I just love these guys, and they only seem to come down into the garden when they are hungry, which isn't all that often, probably about twice a year, so I feed them and to hell with the neighbours !! lol
